There was a vacant lot behind our house. I took note when Mom called a certain weed in it "mustard weed" and I wondered if it tasted like mustard, so ate the yellow flowers. I found them unlike mustard, but tastey. That's it. Not as exciting as play-doh.
Where are you? Home? Not out boating? What are your neighbors doing? Are you the only ones home on your street?
I don't think I ever ate a non-food item - but I did eat everthing put in front of me!
Thanks for dropping by my blog and taking part in the Nursery Rhymes quiz, I hope you enjoyed it. I'll post up the answers and winners on Friday. :)
I'm with akelamalu... I can't think of a non-food item I've eaten (or used to eat.) I knew kids who ate their boogers and that just grossed me out. I was never even curious...
I'm sure there must have been something, though, I certainly can't remember!
My favorite play-doh like toy was Silly-Putty! Yea!!
Hahahaa! I did, too! And dried Elmer's Glue. Oh, and dry dog food. :)
Today, I don't eat Play-Doh, but I love the smell and texture of it. However, like Akelamalu, I eat just about every other edible thing, except boogers.
I ate match heads (the sulfer part) when I was a kid. Paper napkins, also. I was a weird child.
