We ate at Tokyo Japanese Steak House tonight. We bought ourselves dinner after spending the ENTIRE weekend cleaning!
The food was AWESOME! However, our server was interesting...
She was young.
Too young.
Inexperienced.
Sort of looked at us funny when we asked for advice.
Then, funniest of all...
She was taking Hubby's order and said, "Can I see the menu? I don't know how to spell 'teriyaki." It is a difficult word, but you'd think, considering it's a Japanese restaurant...??? Oh well, it was funny.
We LOVED the sushi and the tempura-style shrimp and veggie plate. We each also ordered a meat dish. I had hibachi chicken and Hubby had teriyaki (how's that, again?) steak! Yum! We each came home with leftovers, so you definitely get your fill! Our check was only $40, which is WAY better than eating the crappy salad and soup bar at Ruby Tuesday's!
Now, tomorrow, we'll finish the house, hopefully, and have some good leftovers for lunch!!!

You sound like that was a well deserved meal. It sounds like to was good food.
Just wanted to let you know that I have nominated you for a Nice Matters award.

We ate there a while back and thought it would be fun to have "dinner and a show." Our server, too had some interesting things happen... best of all... when he spun the teriyaki sauce, he squeezed the bottle and teriyakied the guy (in a white shirt) in the corner seat.
We found the food to be alright and we paid a lot (!) more for our meals.
Glad you had a nice time BW.
Hey, what's a Nice Matters award?

I"m ont sure, CH, but it sounds interesting! I really like Sara and have even "spoken" with her about Daughter's trip to Europe next summer. I think it would be SO COOL for MKP to see the farm!
